Bakerbaker19
I’ve recently looped my Boss RC-5 into the Stomp and have had success controlling memory bank increase and decrease via midi sent from the Stomp via Command Center. But, once I change presets (from one I built from scratch to one I hijacked from the factory set) the RC-5 starts rapidly scanning thru memory banks even tho I’ve copy/pasted my Command Center settings and saved them on the new preset. There are no overlapping button actions and I’ve turned off the sent PC changes in my stomp global settings. I’m using a Mosky Dual Switch on FS4 & FS5 to control the midi changes. Note: I’m also using a Jet Micro for additional stomp/snapshot control. Is there some underlying midi transmission I’m missing? Any help would be huge. Thanks in advance. **Midi Settings** Memory Bank Increase Toggle > channel 6 > cc80 > start 0 > end 127 > momentary Memory Bank Decrease Toggle > channel 6 > cc81 > start 127> end 0 > momentary

If you use Toggling CCs assigned to a FS, those CCs are sent automatically (along with Instant Commands} when you load the preset. If you don't want to send the CC on Preset Load, and you want to control Memory INC/DEC using these two CCs (80/81) assigned to footswitches, DON'T use Toggling CCs, as they're not necessary and serve no function. Use regular non-toggling CCs.

When I tried using the non-toggle CC, it starts the command and never stops so the memory banks just go in either direction until they hit 99 or 1. My main confusion is why my original set of Command Center settings will work as desired on one preset but then after being copied to another preset, will not work. To your point about when the preset loads, I can go back to reload the original and they’ll work as expected again.

What you're talking about is a "momentary" controller. Just change the TYPE parameter of the Toggling CC assigned to the FS to MOMENTARY. You may have to change the DIM/LIT values from 0/127 to 127/0 depending upon what Value the RC-5 wants to see first.
Bakerbaker19
Got it. I took note of which way the memory banks were scrolling and held the momentary switch, which stopped the scroll on the looper. Not sure why, but the 0 & 127 assignments for DIM/LIT aren’t the same from preset to preset, but I’ll look out for it as I’m building out more. Thanks for the assist!
