Stomp command center question

hi all

is it possible to switch between modes (snap, stomp, etc) using the existing hx stomp switches or with fs 4/5 ?

im trying to keep it simple... no midi or mechanical button pushing doohickeys!

You can use fs 4/5 to toggle between two consecutive modes, or to scroll through the modes.

 

Edit: this is not a command center function. You set the fs 4/5 functions in global settings>footswitches

Can it toggle with a long hold on fs 1 or 2

and if so how ?

I’m trying to reserve fs 4/5 for snapshots if possible.

Hoping to be able to do the following

FS

1 -stomp / ?

2 -stomp / mode (hold)

3 -tap / tune (hold)

4 -snap 1

5 -snap 3

No.

As already explained, you can "remote" the Page <> functions through external FS4 and FS5, to scroll between modes. This will exclude these as Stomp 4 and 5. They will work just as Page/Navigation <> FS prev/next mode.

 

If you want to preserve all FS, from 1 to 5, and avoid the Page nav, you need a MIDI controller, and use that one for snapshots and other stuff.
