psweetie11
When using a MIDI controller to send out a PC message to the HX Stomp it all works fine EXCEPT that if a Preset is already selected, the MIDI command does not appear to reload the Preset. I would prefer this, as it would reset the blocks to the original Preset settings. I am having to select a random Preset and go back to the one I want to acheive this. soundog
Interesting. If your controller can send sequential commands with a single button push, maybe you could trick the Stomp: put in the random preset# (a blank preset) followed immediately by your desired preset#. Or try preceding the preset# by a CC command (like a snapshot command, for example).

psweetie11
That is what i ended up doing. Issuing a random preset, using s delay and then going back to the original preset. Without the delay the command is lost. Just not expected behaviour
psweetie11
I think this is the forum where I go to find help? I searched for the issue, found nothing and want to know if it standard behaviour or an anomaly. It is not yet a suggestion, albeit I have now reported it as a potential bug.

With Snapshots, you have the option to reload - Global Settings>Preferences>Snapshot Reselect. Nowhere (that I see) is that option available for Presets, so, it is Standard Behavior. If the option was available for Presets, and didn't work, that would be a BUG, and you would be right to report it as such. Since it's NOT a feature, it's not a bug, it's a FEATURE REQUEST, and should be posted on Ideascale and put to a vote. You are correct, this is the forum for help. My double posted suggestion is boilerplate, since so many users post feature requests here and, I thought, implied the above. Sorry if that was confusing, I was obviously having trouble with reality that day! :-)
