dustinrmorley
I have a Helix Floor and have been using HX Edit on a Windows PC to build/edit tones with no issues. Trying out using a macbook pro instead, and everything seems to mostly work with one annoying exception: when I copy a preset, I am used to all of my snapshots and labels being copied as well, but for some reason on mac that is just not happening - the snapshots all vanish when pasting the preset into a new slot (otherwise all blocks/parameters appear to be copied just fine). Just to be extra clear, by "vanish" I mean the snapshot labels on the newly copied preset are back to defaults ("Snapshot 1", so on and so forth) and all 8 snapshots are completely identical (matching the active snapshot from the source preset). Is there a hidden setting governing this that I am just unaware of having set on my Windows PC, or is this a bug on the Mac version of HX Edit? Helix floor firmware 3.01, HX Edit 3.
theElevators
Firmware and HX version have to be the same. I copy presets all the time without an issue on my Mac.
HonestOpinion
^^This! Update your firmware to 3.11. You should be able to do that via the 3.11 version of HX Edit you installed. Look for an update in the bottom right hand corner of HX Edit or go to 'Help' --> 'Check For Update'. Do a backup, global reset, and restore, as detailed in the firmware update notes. Check 'Help' --> 'About HX Edit' and make sure the firmware and HX Edit versions are the same when you are done.
dustinrmorley
Thanks, that was indeed the problem! Finally got the time to update and that fixed it as expected.
