Volume boost in preset mode

I have played on the tech 21 Trademark 300, and when you were on a channel, if you hit the same footswitch button again, it would engage a global boost. It saved me from having to do it with the volume pedal.

 

In Helix preset mode, is there a way to do the same thing? And if not, where can you make that suggestion for a future update?

Helix footswitches don't have a "2nd tap" function, and I doubt that's going to change, but you can post the suggestion here:

The way I do this is to assign a FS to the Output Block Level, set MIN at 0db and MAX at whatever.

Unless you need all 8 presets to show at a given time, you can change that screen to show different combinations in the global settings.

EG: Change the screen to show 4 presets and 4 stomps... then a boost (and 3 other effects) can always be available. 

 

Of course, you will have to setup a footswitch in stomp mode to engage a boost, whether it's an effect block, or the Output Block as @rd2rk suggests above.
