CthulhusTentacle
Hi all, Hoping someone can help me out here, i've not been successful trying to search for an answer... I just updated to the latest firmware and was following the steps to do a factory reset and restore from my backup i created. However, when I try to select the backup file that was created, I get the following message: "No compatible backup files in the selected folder". The file is definitely there: "POD Go Backup 2021-Oct-08.pgb" Anyone else experienced this and figured out a way to resolve it? I'd appreciate it. Thanks. DoozyDKM
No idea whether this matters but I created another back-up file after updating but before doing the factory reset. This loaded fine after the reset. If you're trying to load to load a .pgb file created before updating maybe this is causing the problem & it's worth starting from scratch. Yep, I ended up doing this. Luckily I hadn't made many changes to anything, so it was just a case of reloading some third party presets I had added. EerikTheRed
Yyyoooo, after about 4 hours of troubleshooting, i figured it out! All you need to do is ALSO update your POD GO Edit software. Then it will be compatible when you try to restore the backup again :) My answers probably a bit late... but I hope it at least helps someone else out! O(r are you unable to connect to & Open Pod Go Edit. If the former, what version firmware do you have in Pod Go? If it isn't v1.40 you either need to update Pod Go to v1.40 (highly recommended - there isn't a 1.41 - that was just a minor tweak to Pod Go Edit) or use a version of Pod Go Edit that's compatible with your Pod Go firmware.
