pzuba16
Hello guys! I’m using Helix LT for short time and I’ve got a question. How do you create your presets? I’ve created few of them but it doesn’t sound how I wanted. How do you place your fx’s and what’s the best order for them? I’m using Bayerdynamic DT770 pro as a headphones. I’m new in your helix community so sorry for my stupid questions.
caledoneus
Experimentation is your friend. I usually do comps first, then dirt pedals, then amp/cab/ir, then delays, mods, reverbs last. But, you can switch that order around and get some cool effects too.

PeaveyHerman
What's your setup? I just got my Helix this week and ran it in 4cm. Never owned a pedalboard etc before so this was entirely new to me. Had to fiddle alot with the input settings etc and then just trying preamps, effects etc using the FX loop (which was an initial source of a headache lol). I guess my advice would be to make the best use of whatever you're using and also check out Jason's channel to get ideas and tips on tone shaping. Good luck!
