Here's how:

  1. Load Line6.com and sign in to your account
  2. Click on Customtone, select which Catalyst you have
  3. Select a tone and click the down arrow button to send it to your Catalyst folder
  4. Load Catalyst Edit and select Bank and A or B location
  5. Click on the 3 guitar symbol in the upper left corner of Catalyst Edit
  6. Click "Load Preset". It will default to the Catalyst Folder
  7. Select the tone you downloaded. That's it! Don't forget to "Save Current Preset to Catalyst" using the 3 guitars menu- both to the Catalyst, and if you edit it, "Save Current Preset to File".

I know this is an old topic but, I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to this.

I've downloaded the tones on my PC
I used Google drive to get them to my iPhone
When I go to "load preset" in the catalyst app, it doesn't allow me to select a folder.

Does anybody know what folder the tones are save in on a iPhone?

It shouldn't be this difficult to get this feature to work.  Especially since "Hey, look at all the cool things you can do with our custom app" is one of their big selling points.

"There are currently no presets saved to disk" when trying to load presets I downloaded in the Download browser folder. I saved about 8 but Edit Catalyst cannot find them. It won't allow me to search folders.  Android phone.

I figured out the original issue by clicking within the Catalyst Edit Android app (Backup and/or Save Preset(s)). After doing this, the 'Load Presets' option, which was previously grayed out, became available.

Then to use Presets from Custom Tone:

First, download the Presets you want. If you see an eyeball, turn your phone horizontally and select the Download button.

To access and copy Custom Tone Presets on Android XX, where the default restricted file manager prevents folder access, download FV File Explorer. This file manager grants access to restricted folders such as /Android/Data/*, including Catalyst Backups and Presets. It allows you to copy, move, delete, and manage files easily.

The full path on my Android:

 /Android/data/com.line6.catalystedit/files/Line 6 Catalyst/[Backup][Presets]
