Newbie Confusion Over Spider V Amp Included Software

Recommended Posts

This is the second time trying to post to these forums, so I will make it a lot briefer than last time(last time, it never showed up). I bought and registered my Spider V 120 with the intentions of using/creating some of the custom tones on this site. So I got the Steinberg Cubase download info once I registered and it installed perfectly on my MacBook Pro. However, I can't seem to get any of the POD plugins to work without a serial number. Did I download/install the wrong versions? Does anybody know what the included version of the POD plugin is for those that purchased the Spider V family of Amps? So, DAW is up & running, but VST is not. Any info or direction would be great. I am happy to be a part of this community and I look forward to contributing. I apologize in advance for my mere stupidity. I did look for a digital audio interfacing book/post for dummies:) Thanks for reading!

The product description of the Spider V amps states that it comes with the Cubase software, which you mention you have successfully installed. I see no mention of POD Farm being included. That would explain why you would need to purchase a license in order to use it.
