Putting stomp lights out in display when stomp off

Hi all,

I am relatively new to the Helix LT and Like the ability to show in the display window 4 stomps above 4 snapshots. I was however wondering if I could have the stomps light up when on but no colour when of (BUT keep the stomp switch colours bright and dim) ?

Thanks

Not sure what you're asking for. If, say, the Stomp FS controls a Distortion, the Color is ORANGE.

ON = BRIGHT ORANGE.

OFF = DIM ORANGE

But it will always be ORANGE (or whatever color you set it to) - either BRIGHT when ON or DIM when OFF.

It can't be NO COLOR when OFF and ORANGE when ON and NO COLOR can't be BRIGHT or DIM because - it's NO COLOR.

Am I misunderstanding what you're asking for?

On my Helix LT I can switch the Stomp FS to be ON=Bright Orange (or any other colour you want) and OFF = No Light...... but also wondering if there is a similar option for the stomps on the panel display.. I would like to set up as follows if possible to reduce lights on.

For distortion say

Panel display

ON = Panel light ON

OFF= Panel light OFF

Stomp Switch

ON = Bright Orange

OFF = Dim Orange

No, you cannot separate the "performance view" screen from the "footswitch" rings.

Bright/Dim will be that way on both

or

Bright/Off will be that way on both

You can change the stomp switch lights settings in global settings - displays...on the LT. I assume its the same on the Floor

So it is! Something I never thought to do so never looked for it.

Despite having this thing for 6 years, There's still stuff to learn!

My preferred setting is "Bright/Off"....

That could change next week, but for the last 4 years that's been my favorite way to operate it - LOL!
