howlingmadcrazy
I've recently started using my Firehawk 1500 again after it had been sat gathering dust for a while. However when I first turn it on I can only just about here it, but it's very faint and sounds awful. After maybe 30s the sound comes through as normal. If I switch it off for a couple of minutes and turn it on again the same thing happens but this time it will only take a few seconds to get up to full volume. So far once it gets up to normal volume it does seem to be stable. It was still at firmware 1.02, so I updated it to 1.30 today but it still has the same issue. Has anyone else had anything similar to this?
silverhead
I would open a support ticket. Sounds like hardware. not firmware. Perhaps some component is starting to fail and taking a while to warm up to proper operating temperature.
Jermainekieffer
It's possible that your Firehawk 1500 is experiencing a technical issue. There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem: Check your connections: Make sure all of your cables are securely plugged in and that your instrument, speakers, and Firehawk are all properly connected. Reset the Firehawk 1500: Try performing a factory reset on your Firehawk 1500. Consult the user manual for instructions on how to do this. Check the speakers: Ensure that the speakers are in good condition and that there are no loose connections. If possible, try using a different set of speakers to see if the problem persists. Contact Line 6 Support: If the issue persists, contact Line 6 support for further assistance. They may be able to diagnose the problem and provide a solution. It's also worth noting that electronics can sometimes experience issues after being unused for a period of time. If the issue continues after trying the above steps, it may be worth taking your Firehawk 1500 to a technician for a more thorough check-up.
