KhyrisEidan
I am having a hard time getting a guitar that I have here to work through the Catalyst 200. The guitar spoken about is a ESP LTD SH-7ET. I try playing this guitar, but nothing comes out of the amp. And everything was up and able to hear. But I tried other guitars in it. They work. I don't know what to do to get it working.
silverhead
Unless I misunderstand the problem seems to be with that specific guitar, not the amp. Does that guitar work with other amps? Have you contacted the guitar manufacturer?
rd2rk
Check the guitar's battery. Try it in another amp. Call ESP.
KhyrisEidan
It works in A Fender Champion 100 and a PA system. But not the Catalyst 200.
rd2rk
Other guitars work in the Catalyst. The guitar works in other amps. This makes no sense at all. There is no difference between the input circuit of the Cat (any version) and the Fender in terms of the basic ability to respond to an electrical signal from a guitar. Sensitivity might differ, but if anything, the active pups would be more likely to overdrive the Fender than the Cat. If you ever find a solution to this, please post back. Good Luck!
