Hello,

When I load Helix Native as an FX on Reaper it doesn't get into the proper Helix screen, it just goes to this blue polygonal background screen. I was hoping someone could help me out.

Thanks!

Hi,

In situations like this it’s advisable to state what your computer, operating system and DAW versions are - it’s a big help when trying to troubleshoot this sort of thing. Also, you didn’t indicate if you previously had Helix Native working, and now it has stopped, or is this a first run that is failing.

The most common approaches to this are to uninstall, and then do a clean reinstall, deauthorise, re-authorise the computer, ensure that you have only installed the correct VST version you require without installing any of the other options.

You really need to supply more information, in order for anyone to be able to assist further.

Hope this helps/makes sense.

Reaper v6.81

Windows 11

13700k; RTX 4090; 32 GBs Ram

I've never had it working, I just bought Helix Native not too long ago. Also thanks for the thread links I'm going to try and install the VST 64 as I'm using VST3 and one of the replies said it was a problem with VST3. I'll update this thread when I'm finished with that.

Edit: I completely uninstalled Helix Native (C:\Program Files (x86)\Line6\Helix Native) and then when I re-installed it I chose VST2 instead of VST3 and it works now. Thank you very much again for those links.

I can't get Helix Native to authorize on my Dell 7780.  I have used Line 6 license manager.  The Dell M7780 is authorized for Helix Native; but when I go to Ableton Live 11 and use the Helix Native plugin, I keep getting the error message that my computer is not authorized.

Hi,

If you have tried the uninstall/reinstall solution, provided here, without success, then you really need to contact Customer Support. Click on the “SUPPORT” option in the menu at the top of this page. They will be able to assist, if there is a technical problem with your authorisation.

Hope this helps/makes sense.

EDIT:

Did you follow these instructions about Helix Native installation and authorisation?

You should NOT need to use Line 6 License Manager to authorise Native.
