BachRules
Last week I ordered a used Pod HD Desktop from Guitar Center ($199 out the door). It arrived today, but just the bare unit, with no power chord, manual, or anything else. What should I do? I have the option of returning it, but would like a functional Pod HD in the end. BachRules
Try to call them and explain the problem, otherwise sent it back and get a new... Any ideas about where I should shop for one, if I have start over?
BachRules
Guitar Center says they can get me a power chord, and I see that the manual is available online: http://line6.com/support/manuals/podhd and it looks like the needed software is also available online. Am I set if Guitar Center gives me the power chord?
arislaf
As long as you have the usb cable, yes.
BachRules
As long as you have the usb cable, yes. Thank you. However, Guitar Center just gave me a PX-2g power supply, and now back home I see "DO NOT USE THIS POWER SUPPLY WITH NEW POD HD SERIES PRODUCTS!" https://www.globalfulfillment.net/gfsnet/line6/10Browse.aspx?cid=
Charlie_Watt
That is a TRUE statement. You need the new 9V DC power supply.
the29band
You could get a new HD Desktop for the same price at sweetwater http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PodHD

BachRules
That is a TRUE statement. You need the new 9V DC power supply. I wanted to believe it wasn't true, but the all-caps and exclamation mark, and the AC versus DC thing made it hard to ignore.
BachRules
Guitar Center says: THANKS FOR COMING IN - I HOPE YOU ARE ENJOYING YOUR NEW GEAR I say: Thanks for trying, but I'm not enjoying the gear, because back home I checked the Line6 website and found: "DO NOT USE THIS POWER SUPPLY WITH NEW POD HD SERIES PRODUCTS!" https://www.globalfulfillment.net/gfsnet/line6/10Browse.aspx?cid=262 The same web page indicates that the "DC-3g 9v DC Power Supply" would be the correct one for the POD HD. The power supply I received (PX-2g AC) is AC, and the correct power supply is DC, so that's a major incompatibility. So I need to return this POD HD for a refund, and also give your PX-2g back to you. How do I do the return? Bring the POD HD to your store, or ship it to Ohio? And now: All three of you are ignoring me when I say I want to return the POD HD? I need a refund today, or I will report this to my bank as a case of credit-card fraud, and I will also return the electric guitar I bought from your store last week. I have given your store a lot of business; that will change if you run me around any more with this POD HD.
