rjentoft
Hi, just like the title says: I move the pedal volume to 0, change the preset, and then the volume seems to be all the way up. How do I fix this? thank you
silverhead
See Global Settings. -> Switches/Pedals -> Page 2 knobs 4 and 5. From the manual: Determines whether the POD Go expression pedal positions are recalled per snapshot, per preset, or applied globally. If you want a Volume Pedal or Wah to maintain its position when switching presets, set this to “Global.” Lots of useful info in the manual. It’s worth reading.
SiCantwell
I have a preset using pitch bend, and I've found I need to press the pedal down and then up before I play. Works every time.
rjentoft
Thank you, I have given the manual a once over and adjusted the setting that you recommended to Global. I am still noticing that the sound isn't completely off when the pedal is rocked back all the way… is there another setting I should look for? I want off to mean off with the expression pedal (and I do not have it switched to wah while I'm trying this). Thanks for helping me out, I'm basically brand new to this, it's been quite a while since my last Line6 product which was a Pod 2 a long time ago. You can assign a footswitch to Bypass the VOL FX block. This means you can turn the VOL FX on and off using a footswitch rather than having to use the built in toe switch on the pedal to activate the Wah FX. However, turning the VOL FX off means the VOL level is set to 100%, not 0%. 2. As you rock the pedal the display shows a percentage value. When you rock it completely to the heel position the level should read 0% and there should be no sound. Does your pedal show 0%? If not, that’s the issue. Let us know and we can move on to help you fix that if necessary.

silverhead
While in Edit View select the Vol FX. Its parameters will appear. Move the pedal and observe the parameter value change.
