rw_groesbeck
Hey everyone! So I'm building a patch for my singer/guitarist. She plays acoustic the majority of the set and electric on a couple songs. We're wanting to run both instruments into her HX Stomp at the same time, plugged in using seperate cables. I've built a patch that has her electric amp and fx on path A running in/out from input and output L, her acoustic on path B running in/out from input and output R. Everything has the proper pan and operates as it should. Each path has a gain block assigned to it to operate as a mute so that only one path is running out to FOH at a time. Footswitches are set as follows: FS1: Solo channel for the electric (Path A). Engages drive, verb, and delay. FS2: Alternates gain blocks being used to silence 1 path at a time. FS3: Tap/Tuner What I'd like to do is have it set to when path A is active, the tuner will pick up the electric guitar and will NOT pick up the acoustic on path B. Is this possible? As of now the tuner is picking up signals from both instruments at once regardless of the path selected. Thanks for your help!!!

Thanks for your help!!! As already stated the tuner input is not assignable on the HX stomp. Preset configuration is irrelevant. However, I’m not clear on the issue. If the tuner is behaving as you describe in the quoted statement above then your guitarist should be able to tune either instrument. Presumably she’s not trying to tune both guitars at once. Whichever one she’s playing should be tuneable. Or do I misunderstand?

The issue is the acoustic picks up a lot of ambient noise and the tuner struggles to track which signal is trying to be tuned, particularly when tuning the electric. silverhead
Well, it is what it is. There's no setting or workaround as far as I know. The Tuner is designed to work with the L/MONO input. Frankly I'm surprised the tuner is receiving any signal at the R Input.
