aaron__aardvark
I was missing my PodXT patch that used the Brit Gain 18 (Marshall 1974X "authentic re-issue" amp model) that gives me an 80's metal sound I like. Check out this youtube video (which I did not create): There is a link to get the patch within the video. So I downloaded the patch, which I am guessing wasn't intended for Helix Native. I got the patch within Helix Native, but Helix Native says: "The IR(s) associated with the following blocks in this preset could not be found in the Impulse Library: Path 1A, position 6" There are 7 presets within the patch, and they sound pretty good, but wondering if it sounds much better with the IR(s). Is there anyway to get the IR to work for Helix Native? I don't own Helix hardware.

I got the patch within Helix Native, but Helix Native says: Hi, When you download the zip file “HLX-095-MARS-74x-TM-HX-Patches-V1_0”, it should unpack into 2 folders and a Read Me text file. One folder is named “Patches”, which contains another 3 folders (Helix, HX Stomp and POD Go) that contain the relevant Presets for those items of hardware. The second folder is named “IR Tone Match” that contains “WT MARS 74x TM HX.wav”, the IR file needs to be assigned to the specific location in the IR Library. Either the Helix, or the HX Stomp preset should load into Helix Native without any issue, even if you don’t turn off hardware compatibility, but you also need to load the IR into the correct slot as noted in your post. Hope this helps/makes sense.
aaron__aardvark
OK, I think I have it figured out. I thought the IR would be in the Helix folder, and it was in a separate IR folder. My bad. Thank you for replying!
