red3recon
I bought the line6 pod go wireless last year, I love the integrated wireless and good sounding presets available for it but the lack of DSP drove me to purchasing an actual Helix. I had a few favorite presets on the pod go, is there any converter or any way available to use them on the Helix? I'm sure that Helix is more than capable of reproducing any of those tones, I'm just not real good with building mine from scratch. Thanks for any feedback. Hi, No, your POD Go presets aren’t not compatible with any of the HX family of products - even though they use the same HX Modelling technology the presets are different file formats and not transferable. You could make notes of all your POD presets for each component in the signal chain and attempt to recreate them in the Helix. That way you’re not really having to recreate them from scratch because you can reference your notes as a cheat sheet. Hope this helps/makes sense.
red3recon
Thank you both! That's kind of what I was figuring, I just was hoping someone had written a tool to do it. I will open the pod edit on my laptop and use the HX at it on my desktop at the same time, that way I can look at all the levels and more detailed parameters to try to line them up. I only have a few that I really like and that I haven't found an equal to yet. When I got that pot go I thought how could anything sound any better? Man the Helix blows me away with the depth of the sounds. Absolutely night and day!
