Newf Posted October 30, 2023 Share Posted October 30, 2023 I've got the PGW connected via balanced adapter (TRS adapter clips on to the end of xlr cable) to the xlr port of my powered speaker. I turn OFF my pedal in the effects loop and turn to zero the output volume, but when I turn OFF the PGW I get a loud pop from my speaker each time. Is that normal? If so, then I'll have to turn the speaker off too before powering OFF the PGW ... ;-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
silverhead Posted October 31, 2023 Share Posted October 31, 2023 That’s not uncommon with any audio gear. General rule is that you turn off the speakers before any other equipment.
