Anyone using Helix to control their Orange amps?

Is anyone using their Helix to change channels on their Orange amps?  I’m considering getting either their Super Crush 100 or the Crush Pro 120, and I’d hate to lose the ability to change channels due to, from the manual:

“IMPORTANT! Connect EXT AMP 1/2 only to amplifiers that utilize “short-to-sleeve” footswitch inputs. Connecting to any other sort of input could cause permanent damage to both your amp and Helix LT! If you’re not sure if your amp has short-to-sleeve inputs, contact the manufacturer.”

I’ve reached out to Orange but thought I might get an answer quicker here.

I used to use my HX Effects to change the channels on my Rockerverb MKii and MKiii 50 watters, no problem.

Just curious- what made you part way w/your Rockerverbs?  10 years ago, a MKii 50W was my main gigging amp for about 3 years.  No real complaints other than the Reverb going from 0-100 by barely moving its knob.

Versatility I suppose. I changed the style of music I was playing. As I'm now playing mainly in a cover band, it wasn't quite versatile enough to cover the ground I needed it too. I love the sound of them, but they very much have their own sound, if you know what I mean. Great amps, though. They look great as well.

Yeah, that reverb was pretty mad. They improved the reverb on their MKiii amps.

hi, just wondering what your settings are for switching channels on you're HX Effects to your Orange MKiii. I get a low hum when i switch to the clean channel.

Sorry for the late reply. I think clean was set to Tip1 and overdrive channel was set to Ring1.
