RocketRose
I use a JTV 59 and I'd like to custom tune one string of the standard 12 string tuning. Specifically I'd like to change the high octave of the D string to a 5th or G instead of the 12th D above standard. I can do this on a standard 12 and I get the exact sound I'm looking for but I can't see how to do it in Workbench. This is for When the Levee Breaks. Any ideas? psarkissian
In Workbench HD,... there is a virtual switch to enable the strings, then adjust the tuning. https://line6.com/data/6/0a020a3f142665dadd9e9c8754/application/pdf/Workbench HD Pilot's Guide - English .pdf
RocketRose
Thanks psarkissian. What you suggest retunes both of the strings (in the 12 string model). For reference I think of the twelve strings as Ee Aa Dd Gg BB EE. I'm looking to retune just one of those paired strings. In this case Dd (with the small d being the 12 high octave) to Dg (with the small g being the higher 5th of the D). Am I missing something in Workbench HD that lets you split the tuning of paired strings in the 12 string model? Many thanks in advance. I love my Variax
psarkissian
Manual, page 9,... should be able to de-link, for amount of de-tuning between the fundamental and octave stings from 0 to +/- an octave.
