SnowStormDA
I like to run my Pod Go in Stomp Mode and have access to turn on/off individual effects. It would be great to have an "auto-return stomp" option in the global menu. This would allow you to return back to the Stomp Mode display after you select a preset. My typical song change is this - I play my song in Stomp Mode and the song ends. Press the Mode button to list the presets and then click my next preset (say moving from 2A to 2B) for the next song. Now I have to press the mode button again to get back to Stomp Mode. The auto-return feature would save that step and put me right back into Stomp Mode after I select a new preset. silverhead
There's a Global Setting that allows you to use 4 Stomp switches for FX on/off and use the Up/Down switches to navigate among presets without leaving Stomp mode.
Rickkit
Another work around is to use a 2 button momentary contact switch for FS7 & FS8 and then set the switches to up/down banks in Global settings... If you step on either button once it will go to the current bank and you can select one of the 4 presets as normal... However the difference is that once you make a selection the unit will auto return to Stomp Mode... This juicy little work around only works if you set FS7 & FS8 to Banks in Global settings... If set to either Preset or Snapshots it will not work in this neat little work around... I submitted a request over a year ago to just auto return to stomp mode after selecting a preset, but it did not gain any attention or traction... I also submitted that request to the separate site where Line 6 people are supposed to monitor, but users did not jump on that band wagon either... So I just continue on with this work around...
