cubbini
Does the Variax Standard (yamaha) have the same tone-lock capabilities with the HD500x as the JTV 69? The jtv69 has the tone lock feature that allows the knobs to be assigned to control various HD500X parameters. In the HD500x when I make a patch that also selects the Model, it also selects the Bank that the Model resides in, so that when I use the 5-way switch, it selects the Models in the same bank that the original Model is in, ignoring the Model selector knob position on the guitar. Very desirable behavior!! So.....Does the Variax Standard (yamaha) have the same tone-lock capabilities with the HD500x as the JTV 69? Thanks, all!!! psarkissian
Yes. It's the same main board and Firmware as the JTV's, so the same features, including the Force/Don't Force that allows for the floor effects to control models and tuning in the Variax.
