Hello. I tried to update the firmware for Catalyst 60. Line6 Updater gave an error message, it tells me to turn the amplifier off and on and now it won't turn on, as if there is no power. Is this a blockage or coincidence  the ignition has been damaged?

Perform a Factory Reset.

Turn the amp OFF and disconnect the USB cable.

Restart the amp while holding the CH B and MANUAL buttons.

If that fixes it, make sure the USB is not connected to a HUB (or front USB Ports on a Desktop).

Check that you have the latest version of L6 Updater.

If it fails again, try a different USB Cable. Even if you're using the cable that came with the Cat, defective cables are not unheard of.

Max USB Cable Length is 15ft.

If it doesn't work, contact support.

I just had this happen. When you power cycle the amp back on holding A and B, you won't see any lights or anything on the amp. It will still look "dead". It is in bootload mode. Reopen Updater or Line 6 Central. It probably won't see the amp. It will give a message that says something about seeing a "generic USB device, do you want to identify it?". Select "identify". Select the product you need to update and just try the update again. Once the update shows as completed, power cycle at the end (no need to hold anything this time) and you should be good.
