rashadsultan
Hello All, I am running HX edit and Helix Native on Mac OSX. I created a patch on HX edit while using my LT and exported it to continue working on it while on Native. I got an error which said it won't load because of 'unrecognized models'. I assumed my Native needed to be updated so I tried running that and was asked to update Updater. I ran the package and got another error: "...can't run because Apple can't scan for malicious software". I read up on this in the knowledge base and tried dragging it to the Applications folder (as recommended) but no luck there. My questions are: 1) Am I correct in assuming Native needs to be updated (based on the 'unrecognized models' error message)? 2) Can someone help me figure out a solution for updating Updater on Mac OSX? Thanks!

Thanks! Hi, You have encountered the Gatekeeper which is built into the MacOS. To save me from lots of typing, go to this link, and follow the information given there. The new Helix Native v3.71 installed without any issues on my iMac running Catalina. EDIT: Your LT, HX Edit and Helix Native all need to be running the most up to date versions to avoid conflicts. Hope this helps/makes sense.
