Topeboy
I have an old Variax that the board has died and I wondered if there is a way to wire the piezo bridge to a preamp and out to an output jack? Its actually a really nice guitar to play but I was never convinced by the emulations. My strat and gretch are just so much better but it would be nice to take the piezo output to my HX stomp to work on an acoustic patch. Is the wiring really too difficult? psarkissian
Op-amp circuits in the guitar on a separate circuit board custom mod. Need someone good with op-amp circuits who knows how to buffer and impedance match the output, so that it can drive enough signal to whatever the effects or amp is,... without frying anything. Basically a booster circuit in the guitar. Or do the same, only with an external booster box, and a 9V battery. In both cases, using the 1/4" TRS output jack. Will need a custom guitar circuit person (someone other than me) who is up on this stuff.
