marvinthemartian Posted October 21 Share Posted October 21 At a gig on Fri night, the epression pedal on my pod go went nuts. It came time for the solo in like a stone ( no issues during the 3 yrs I've been using the pod go) and the whammy effect just took of like it had a mind of its own. Jumping pitch all over the place when ever I moved the pedal. The pedal position tracks correctly on the screen but shift is completely erratic. Same problem with wah and volume. I made sure that it wasn't a lighting issue. The next day, I did a full backup, reset and restore as well as cleaning the optical sensors. Did not solve the problem. Any ideas would be helpful. It sounds great, but everything in it is second rate: cheap scratchy buttons, garbage actuators, expression pedal... I think maybe the "expression pedal" jack has a mind of its own, not the pedal itself. As you know, you can add an external expression pedal to your Pod Go. Maybe try plugging a short patch cable into "external pedal" and short-circuit it... I plug in a 1/4" inch cable into the Send jack... that way Pod Go always thinks I have an external pedal plugged in and never switches the onboard pedal to "exp 2". Maybe give that a try?
