anihilus
Hi everyone, I’ve been using my POD Express with my iPhone, and it works great! However, I’m wondering if there’s a way to use it as an interface without the built-in processing from the POD Express. Essentially, I’d like to bypass the POD Express tones and use apps like AmpliTube, JamUp, or AmpKit for processing instead. Right now, AmpliTube is working, but I’m hearing the unprocessed (clean) signal from the POD Express in the background, which isn’t ideal. Additionally, other apps like JamUp and AmpKit don’t seem to work at all. Does anyone know if it’s possible to fully bypass the POD Express tones and just use it as a clean interface? Any tips or settings I might have missed? Thanks in advance for any advice!
silverhead
The POD Express supports a 4-channel USB interface, with USB 3 and 4 each sending the dry, unprocessed POD Express mono output signal to the receiving program. So look for a way to configure Amplitube, JamUp, or AmpKit to recognize either USB 3 or 4 as its input.
anihilus
That is a good suggestion. However, as long as I am using the pod as an interface this is where I have plugged in my headset, and I am still hearing my pod. So, I guess it is a no go.
