Line 6 Monkey won't see POD HD 500

I haven't been using my POD HD500 in more then 12 years and recently I started to play again. It works just fine, and I plugged it into my PC and installed drivers, POD HD 500 Edit and Line 6 Monkey. POD HD 500 Edit are seeing the device and works with it. But then I wanted to update firmware on the device but Line 6 Monkey won't see the it. I tried drivers 4.2.7.6 and 4.2.7.7 and also different versions of Monkey (1.71, 1.73, 1.77) but it's no use. Monkey just won't see my device and there only PODxt in the list of hardware. I tried to reinstall drivers and software many times but still no effect.

May be i am missing something? Please help.

Try using Line 6 Central instead of Monkey. Central is a more recent utility, replacing Monkey.

Thank you! It worked and I've been able to finally upgrade it.
