Line 6 Licence Manager doesn´t recognize my new MacBook

´Scan for devices` shows a serial number of a device I don´t have. Not the old and not the new one.

I use MacOs Sequoja 15.3.1.

A new download and installation of Licence Manager did not help.

In the end I want to use HX native with Logic Pro as I did it on my old MacBook.

My add-on (Helix Native) is not shown in Licence Manager. Deauthorizing and Authorizing my computer again did not help. I want to use my add-on. Who can help?

In the meanwhile I learned that in Licence Manager shown computer serial number has nothing to do with the actual computer serial number. How comes?

Why do you think that you need to use the Line 6 License Manger? It is not required to for Helix Native, simply download and install from the “HelixNative3.82.dmg” file.

Once you have installed HXN in Logic, create an instance of Native in a track, make sure you are logged in to your Line 6 account and then click “Authorise This Computer”.

It might be advisable to read this - especially page 4, “Installing Helix Native”, and page 6 “Deauthorizing - Moving to Another Computer”.

The Release Notes for the update also cover Helix Native installation.

Plus, Sweetwater, have a quick start for Helix Native.

Hope this helps/makes sense.

I ran into the same issue after switching to a new MacBook—Line 6’s license tool seems to lag behind with OS compatibility. While troubleshooting, I had to manage school too, so I used a do my homework online service to stay on top of things without falling behind. Tech problems and deadlines don’t mix well!

Thank you, you made my day.
