mjstephenson1
Hello, I've use the trial version of this on my mac for many years and recently wanted to control my guitar fx from a korg nano kontroller as its easier for live performance. In the pod farm 2.5 preferences under the MIDI section is identifies the controller but thats it. There is no option to assign effects to controller keys etc. So I thought to myself, I know, I buy the standard version for £100! Its no different everyone! I still have all the same effects and limitations I did before, I'm just £100 down, sadly. Could really do with a refund, Im very disappointed. Anyone got any suggestions of better guitar fx software with MIDI that actually works?

robertfsadler
Not sure if this helps, but I have an ASUS Z790 board with a number of 3.2 ports Gen 2 C and A and Gen 1 A. I have an old PODxt and a UX2 which worked fine on my other machine with 3.0 USB ports. When I connected the POD/UX to my new machine I got just horrible distortion. I experimented and found that a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port is fine. It's the USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports that will not work with the PODxt and UX2 at least on the ASUS board I have. Which has the Microsoft drivers. Maybe this will help you.
