DL4 MKII still not working as advertised. What is the bug report and feature request procedure for this unit?

Recommended Posts

Was really excited about the DL4MKII recent firmware update. Unfortunately, I've still been dealing with a number of issues:

MIDI

Midi implementation for looper is mostly useless at the moment. First of all, my unit only responds to Midi on channel one. I've gone into the settings to try to have it respond to midi on other channels but this just doen't work on my unit. Even when I set it to "listen" to incoming Midi and set the channel correspondingly (I believe this is the "orange" global midi setting)

Control opf looper via Midi does not work properly either as there is a lag when activating the switches that makes looping impossible.

In addition, implementing the looper via midi while outside of the classic looper mode has a severe drawback at the moment: You CANNOT record a loop with the delay presets turned off. In other words, when you start recording a loop via midi, the DL4 automatically engages the delay preset, even if you had it turned off. So, basically, you can't record a "dry" loop!

All of this is truly frustrating. I hope Line 6 is taking all of the complaints related to this unit seriously. Speaking of which, can anybvody tell me what is the official bug repot procedure for this unit?

Cheers,

David
