Dellul
Yet another can't connect to Workbench problem. I can't connect my JTV 69 to Workbench, suddenly. It always could before. I just picked up a JTV 89, and wanted to move some settings over. The JTV 89 connects perfectly, but for the first time ever the JTV 69 won't. I have two sets of everything, and have tried everything, and reset everything, and reinstalled everything, and even removed the battery from the JTV 69 for hours in the hope that might prompt something. I've looked inside and all cables are connected. I've looked at the ethernet jack and it looks fine. The JTV 69 still plays fine, no issues. It just won't connect to Workbench. psarkissian
What is the Flash version? Are you using Workbench or Workbench HD? What computer? What computer OS is it? Workbench HD is for JTV, Standard and Shuriken, with Flash v2.00 or higher.

I can't tell you the flash version of the JTV69 as it will no longer connect. I'm fairly sure it's the latest though. Green light on one side, red light on the other. I'm having no problem connecting the JTV89F.
psarkissian
Register your 69 and 89F in your Line 6 account, it will allow me to check a couple of things through the serial numbers and see what it is that might be different between them.

psarkissian
With the JTV-69, I don't see a service record for that. I figure it has never been serviced, so it more than likely has and earlier revision main board in it. Current version board has a couple of updated chips that are more current for today's data stream rates. The 89F would have the current version board in it. the 69 is a 2012 build, the 89F is from 2016. It should be checked out by a Line 6 authorized technician near you. It is won't be something you can self repair.

Thanks for the input. Much appreciated Psarkissian. Cheers, David
psarkissian
Cost? Not off hand. I would have to evaluate it and check it out, see what's going on with it, and give an estimate. The Customer Support people would add it up and quote an estimate. Any time,... that's what I'm here for.
