EddieTheTrooper
What is the difference between level knob and mix? Shouldn't be both the same?
Kevin28Devoe
Hello! The level knob controls the output volume of a signal, adjusting its loudness. The mix knob (or wet/dry) blends the unprocessed (dry) signal with the processed (wet) signal from an effect, determining the ratio between them. They aren't the same because the mix knob inherently includes the original sound in the TxTag org output, whereas a level knob on a processed signal doesn't offer this blend control. 1
silverhead
Another way of looking at what’s correctly described above: The Mix control operates within the FX block, affecting the dry/wet blend of the signal reaching the FX block output The Level control affects the loudness of the output in the overall preset. For example, you could set a very high Mix level so that the tonal impact of the FX block is very noticeable. But if you set the Level control very low you may not be able to hear that impact.
EddieTheTrooper
Thank you for explanations. I was confused because in article I've read the author used the these terms interchangeably
