EddieTheTrooper
I've noticed several times a bug while changing preset(manually for sure, didn't use footswitch for a while so cant say about it). From time to time, not always after changing preset the delay note setting changes to sync - whole(my setting is 1/4 sync ). have you also experienced this? EddieTheTrooper
So am I the only one? I think it happens when amp is connected to the PC and Cat Edit is open
rd2rk
Always connected, Edit always open, no problem here. I'll keep my eyes open and see if it pops up. Intermittent problems are such a PITA to troubleshoot. After a while they cause me to question my sanity!
telfordtodd
My issue is when i switch channels, there is a distinct delay or "blip" in the sound. Really is a drag when trying to switch from a clean tone to a crunch or high gain and there is a 1/2 second drop in the sound before the other channel kicks in. DO you guys have that issue as well? You are not switching analog channels, you are switching PRESETS. It takes time to UNLOAD one preset from memory, then load another into memory. It's nowhere near 1/2 second, MAYBE 100ms, if that. More like 30-50ms. You either learn to work around it (don't switch presets with a note ringing, pause for a dotted 1/8th) or find a product that doesn't do that. I don't know of one. The BOSS GT1000 is designed to work like that, but the Katana does not (AFAIK) contain that technology.
