RobS60
I just got the HX effects after YEARS of using traditional tube amps and pedals. I'm getting to the age where hauling heavy amps and a pedal board is OVER for me Im just looking to simplify and REDUCE the heavy gear. So I'm stuck in a never-ending nightmare with the software side. Whoever put this together is NOT very elegant with coding. So Im totally stuck at the HX Edit software. It won't even let me uninstall it WTF?!!! It opens up, with the USB from puter to HX effects using version 3.80 I purchased a present and ASSUMED it would go smoothly... NOPE. EDIT is in FU mode... connects to the HX and then once you go into the dropdown under file and select IMPORT PRESET it kicks you to the screen where you go to select actions, it does that for ALL drop down menus. The pedal is killer and amazing... operating the software for importing and editing BLOWS its AWFUL F-
rd2rk
Your experience is atypical. Take a deep breath. UNINSTALL everything Line6 related. REBOOT. REINSTALL the latest version of HX Edit (3.82 I believe). If you're still having problems come back and provide details about your system - HW, OS etc.
lou-kash
Also, @RobS60, you're posting in the wrong forum. This forum section is for the Helix Native AU/VST software plugin. You may want to repost the topic, including all details about your computer hardware and software, here: https://line6.com/support/forum/86-helix/
