huzzam
Hi, when I run a mono signal into the HX One, I can only get mono effects out. I'd like to have the HX1 be the pedal that makes my signal stereo, but I don't get any output on the right channel, even with obviously stereo effects like Ping Pong Delay. Is this by design, or is my unit faulty? I've used the HX Effects for years and a mono input can become a stereo output (obviously), so this doesn't make sense... silverhead
Make sure your Settings->I/O Config parameter is set to Stereo. See manual for details if necessary.
huzzam
thanks for your response. Yes, i've already confirmed that settings -> i/o is set to stereo. But i still get output on only the left channel for most effects. For example, ostensibly stereo effects like Dual Pitch, which has pan controls for the voices, only outputs on the Left, no matter how i set the panning. Some effects (e.g. Poly Capo) output the same effected signal on both channels, since i guess they sum to mono before processing. And some others (e.g. Dynamic Plate) have a tiny bit on the right, because i guess they have crosstalk between the channels (as a reverberant space would), but it's clear it's expecting a stereo input signal and considering the mono input as a hard-panned left, resulting in a lot of reverb effect on the left and a tiny bit on the right. I'm guessing this is not how it's supposed to be working, right? A mono signal fed into Dynamic Plate should produce a reverb with similar levels on right and left. This is how my HX Effects works. huzzam
Any other suggestions? I find it hard to believe this pedal can't produce a stereo signal from a mono input.
