Corkenmahopper
It appears that the volume knob on the Helix Stadium XL is a "master volume" for all 3 (1/4", xlr, and phones) outputs. Is that right? In other words, whatever adjustments are made in each output matrix, the volume knob is independent of those adjustments and a master for them all? silverhead
No, I don't think so. The Master volume knob controls the 3 outputs independently. To test this (I haven't done so) I suggest wearing headphones AND using one or both of the 1/4"/XLR outputs. Use the Matrix Mixer to set initial output levels for all of the outputs. Then, try putting one of the phones (L or R) to your ears while also listening to the other output (1/4" or XLR). Select the Phones output in hte Matrix Mixer and increase its level. You should hear the volume increase in the phone that's beside your ear. If the volume level of the other output does not increase then the levels are independent. If the other level does increase along with the phones level then your statement is correct.
rwandering
By default independent they are independent, but you can link them (see Main Volume/Matrix Mixer | Line 6 Manuals).

Thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten that they can be linked.
