Setting SPDIF as standard output for all presets

I am not sure that S/PDIF is a default. Matric 1/4", XLR, and Phones are definitely a default. But you can set it per preset so S/PDIF is possible. I am just not sure that you can set it globally to ALWAYS be the default out. Have you tried setting the Is/Outs from the Global Settings for S/PDIF Out to Direct Out. Still, I think that is for how the S/PDIF gets sent and not for a default on the presets. Let us all know if you find a solution. Otherwise, suggest it to Line 6 to add this capability if you don't.

I have the stadium connected to my interface (UAD Apollo) through SPDIF.
Right now, every time I change presets I have to manually change the output to SPDIF. How can I establish SPDIF as the output for all presets?

karimkamel,

Currently the only way to set the output to S/PDIF is individually unless you setup a template with the S/PDIF as the output.  Then you just use the template as the start for all your presets.

One other way is to copy the S/PDIF output from one preset then paste it and save it as output into each of the current setlists you're wanting to use.  It is slightly faster than changing the output for each preset manually then saving.  Of course it is not ideal for your situation.  But those are two suggstions I can offer at this time.
