onghyr
I recently downloaded some custom audio files and tried to use them in HD edit mode, but they don’t seem to appear in the file list. I’ve checked the folders and confirmed that the files were added correctly, yet they still don’t show up when I try to select them. Has anyone experienced this issue before, and is there a setting or step I might be missing?
silverhead
Perhaps there's some confusion in terminology. You specify 'custom audio files'. If they are indeed audio files you can't load them into HD Edit; it does not handle audio. HD Edit deals with data files that specify preset details. If you mean downloaded Customtone files, they are not audio files. They are the data files that specify presets. You need to make sure that both your downloaded files and your version of the HD Edit program are compatible with the POD HD device that you use. pianoguyy
To further what he said... EDIT's file finder only recognizes one specific file extension. But other extensions can be put into EDIT using the 'drag and drop' method. The four units (500/x, Pro/X) are all compatible using this method, even though each specific EDIT program only sees one specific extension. And if you save them, they will be saved in the 'new' file extension. Other files can be run though the converter found on the home page, but those 4 are interchangeable with no issue.
