However, the progress bar has been stuck at 29% for over an hour now. I’m not sure if I should unplug it or wait longer. Has anyone else experienced this? silverhead Posted March 20 Share Posted March 20 You can turn it off; it is recoverable. What procedure/software are you using to perform the update? I get best results by using Line 6 Central, not the app, for firmware updates. Make sure you login to your Line 6 account within Central. The app can update itself but I’ve had problems using it for firmware updates. If it doesn’t start up properly the first time let us know. There are recovery procedures. Thanks! belfastsong, I used to have issues several years ago and decided to update my Wi-Fi network & incoming internet line. Your Wi-Fi and internet may be really solid and a non issue so ... I only use the Wi-Fi for the firmware update via the Stadium XL itself. I set the app to NOT autoconnect and make sure I am logged out of the app and Stadium XL before logging into the Stadium to update. That way I can log into the app to update the app while the Stadium XL is updating. I then wait for both to be finished. At that point I shutdown the computer then turn it back on. And I do the same for the Stadium XL. I have found with the OG Helix that creating a backup of the Stadium XL, resetting it to default once I have first restated it, then restoring the backup seems to make my pedal fairly stable with less issues than I am reading about.
