No Sound Coming out of 1/4" Output jacks

I had to get a new Stadium XL from Line6 since the 1.3.1 update bricked my original Stadium. With the new Stadium, I am getting no sound coming out of the 1/4" output jack (using L/Mono) set to line level . The big volume knob is all the way up and output matrix level is set to 20 db. I am getting sound from the headphone jack and can get the tuner to recognize the input from the instrument 1 jack.

Also input is set to instrument 1. I tried running the signal through the return effect loop in Roland Blues Cube Artist no sound (efx. loop turned on). I tried running into my Tech 21 Deuce Deluxe Power Engine. Also no luck. Any ideas? Did I get another dud? Thanks for your help!

Check your Output block setting. Matrix is its own output, different from 1/4" outputs, but includes 1/4", XLR, and Phones. Your symptoms in your second post suggest the Output block setting is 1/4", not Matrix, meaning that only the 1/4" jacks are receiving the output signal. Is that what you mean by 'bypass matrix'?

If you have it set to Matrix you should also be getting the output signal at the XLR and Headphones outputs. Check those. If only the 1/4" outputs are missing when Matrix is selected I think that's a strong indication of a hardware fault in the circuitry from Matrix to 1/4" jacks.

Yes if I set it to direct 1/4 you set the output with one of the 8 knobs not the big knob. I am hoping there is no problem with the matrix setting. I tried to use the matrix with 1/4”, xlr, and headphones and the headphones worked but the 1/4” did not seem to. That would not be cool if I have to send back another stadium xl to line6. I tried to call them today, but even in the middle of the day they said it was after hours.
