silverhead Posted 12 hours ago Share Posted 12 hours ago Neither Stadium unit, Floor or XL, has gapless preset switching. Switching snapshots within a preset is gapless. The specs of the two units will show you the hardware differences, the most significant non-I/O difference being lack of scribble strips on the Floor. On the other hand, it has Play View and I’ve seen some requests for that from XL owners. Otherwise it’s an I/O, form factor and cost decision. The preset will show up to see on the big screen though right? Also how many snap shot variations are available in each pre set? And can I assign different drives in a pre set with varying gain levels? Say, crunch has light drive and solo snapshot has more dirt on drive two in the 2nd snapshot? Same with delays? dandesy Posted 11 hours ago Share Posted 11 hours ago 8 snapshots per preset. And you can change just about ANY parameter per snapshot. The only thing you can’t do is change the specific effect model. If you want a Minotaur at varying tone and gain settings, it’s possible. If you want a Minotaur on one snaoshot and a Tube screamer in a different one, you have to add both effects to the preset and then turn them on and off between snapshot. it’s pretty powerful. dandesy Posted 2 hours ago Share Posted 2 hours ago You can capture your amp boosted, or put a boost in front from the effects in the Helix. And you can capture a clean setting too. You can have two Proxy captures per oath, so 4 in total. But I think one cheat, one driven plus a separate boost/OD pedal in front is the way to go.
