petedevries
Hi everyone, I’ve been digging into Showcase on the Line 6 Helix Stadium and I’m really impressed by the potential. It’s honestly very close to being a full live performance brain. But I’ve hit a pretty major workflow limitation, and I’m curious if others feel the same Right now, updating or replacing an audio track in a Song forces a complete rebuild of all flags. In real-life usage you have to recreate all your flags from scratch if you change any audio stem Feature ideas Would love to see improvements around this: ### 1. Preserve flags when updating audio * Replace/update a track without losing flags * Keep timing (absolute or relative) ### 2. Import / Export flags * Save flag setups independently * Reuse them across Songs ### 3. Favorite / reusable flags * Create a library of common actions (example: MIDI CC60 value 127 on channel 3) * Quickly drop them into any Song. Curious to hear how others deal with this currently. And if anyone from Line 6 is reading: this would massively improve the real-world usability of Showcase.

Right now, updating or replacing an audio track in a Song forces a complete rebuild of all flags. … That’s curious. I didn’t think you could update or replace individual Song tracks. In fact, the manual states this: Audio tracks cannot be added to a song that already exists in Helix Stadium. Please let us know how you are able to do this. AFAIK you can only modify existing Song audio by recreating the Song from scratch i.e. uploading all tracks/stems again in a new (no flags) Song. Perhaps for the first of your 3-part feature request should actually be the ability to add or replace individual Song tracks. If implemented I expect it would be done in a manner that retains Song flags. You can submit official feature requests to Line 6 here: https://line6.com/company/contact/productfeedback/
petedevries
Sorry that's what I meant, the only way to update is to start again.

petedevries
...no news yet ! anybody else interested in those features ?
silverhead
The interval between making a feature request and actually seeing it appear in a firmware update is not measured in weeks. It takes a long and indeterminate time, and many requests are never implemented. But you're right to encourage others to consider it. The more requests the faster and more likely that it will eventually be implemented.
dandesy
By all means log a feature request with line 6. However, In this case, I’m faulty certain that line 6 is busy expanding the features of showcase (among other things), and while they may be too busy to look at all requests these days, it might guide them in the right direction.
