Controling Tonex One via Helix Lt

I have a Helix Floor and I control which patches I use on my ToneX pedal with the midi out of the Helix. So yes it is possible. The Tonex Lists its midi control in its manual. You go into the Helix control to setup the midi messages that you want a button to control.  I have, on some patches, for fs 1 to bank up on the Tonex and fw 5 to bank down.

You can control other things but that is what I use it for. You have to use the 5 pin midi though, the usb from a Helix would not work.

He's asking about the Tonex One. Which doesn't support MIDI natively at all (hence the existance of the new Tonex One +, the main purpose of it to exist being to add MIDI).

There's a "hack", though. Some clever dude came up with a GitHub project and a DIY box that adds MIDI to the TXO.

You can find it here:

You can as well buy a readymade box from Pirate MIDI:

I bought their Polar Pico and am now controlling my TXO via MIDI. Works absolutely great.
