mdyas
I have a TC 2290P (pedal) on my board with the Helix Stadium in a stereo loop. The ducked delay in the Helix is very good, but it does not have the options provided by the 2290 rack or pedal. I am thinking that to emulate the 2290, you would have to set up some modulation on split after the Helix ducked delay. Has anyone else done this? Having said that, I do not know how the 2290 circuits work but from a theoretical POV you could setup a linear path using a modulation block of your choosing after the Duck Delay or a parallel path based upon whether or not you want the delay itself to only have the modulation or if you want to have the guitar signal split between the Duck and the modulation FX for individual adjustments separate from one another. Just my thoughts. As always, you and your ears are truly the most important aspect in creating the sound you want to use with your artistic nature when any answer to your question is formulated. ;-) jpd
mdyas
Right- I think I will give it an approximation by setting up the Ducked Delay on a split path, kill the dry through (100% wet?), and have some modulation effects follow it so that they are only on the repeats. Then the overall mix is set at the split/merge points, and level on the DD.
