Stadium Native and DAW questions..........

Recommended Posts

To preface.....I live in an apartment (so no noise). I have owned in the past a Helix Floor, Stadium Floor, and just about everything else they have. Now I intend to only use Stadium Native thru my PC and Audio Interface. No gigging. Just playing at home and tinkering.

Questions:

1. Must I have a DAW installed to use Stadium Native? (I think I do)

2. What would be the simplest DAW to use (starting from scratch)? I have tinkered with Reaper but I don't own a copy and certainly never became proficient with it while I had the trial version. So I'll have to purchase and learn this software.

I don't mind buying Stadium Native....but I want to use the simplest and least expensive DAW that will work with it.

Thank you

Rick

1. Yes

2. I think your computer is Windows since you mention PC, but if you are on Mac I think GarageBand is probably simplest. On PC I use the free version of Sonar which is not simple for a beginner (none are) but I find it easier to use than Reaper.

Appreciate pointing me in the right direction. I now have SONAR up and working with the Trial version of Stadium Native working within it. I'll tinker for a bit before I decide to buy the full version (probably will do so).

Thanks again
