de-paelser
Hi Folks, I use the Line 6 HX Stomp for my bass in combination with a EBS Microbass 3 , using the 4-cable method. I route the signal from the Microbass’s post-balanced DI output to the mixing console. I’d like to use the Microbass 3 to access two different sounds: a clean sound through the Clean channel and a drive sound through Channel 2 (Drive). Unfortunately, this doesn’t work; no matter how I set up the Microbass, the sound doesn’t change. Why is that...? The wiring is as follows: (also refer to attached file) Bass HX Stomp L/Mono IN HX Stomp send to Microbass3 INPUT Microbass3 FX SEND to HX Stomp RETURN L / MONO HX Stomp L/MONO OUT to MICRO BASS 3 FX RETURN MICRO BASS 3 Post Bal DI OUT to Mixer Any idea what's wrong...? Regards & Thanks Martin Routing_HX Stomp_EBSmicrobass3.pdf
rd2rk
had a quick look at the EBS manual. Maybe this? BLEND sets the mix level between the clean channel and drive channel when the drive channel is active. To jump between the Clean and Drive channels, set this knob to the max position and set the Serial switch to Off.
Schmalle
The wiring is correct! You obviously need an FX Loop L block in your patch. Also Global Settings > Ins/Outs > Return Type needs to be set to Return.
