Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System As Monitors?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

i own a line 6 ux1 and i was wondering if i could use my Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System as monitors.

Of course i don't want to use 5.1 but i guess i could just leave 2 speakers + the sub.Can this work?

Will this setup give me clear and descent results or studio monitors is the only way?

If i can use them my logitech how do i connect them in my ux1(i noticed they have a single output).

Thanks in advance.

as long as they are not USB speakers you could probably use them... I wouldn't think that they'd perform well... but they may get you by until you can get something more appropriate.

+ i found a set of Creative A60 stereo speakers.

Which of three is the best solution for now?

if it were me i'd keep it simple, if that's your budget i'd get the A60 pair you were looking it...

if you can stretch the budget a little you could get real monitors:

they'd serve you better long term.
