Palico
I updated my pod HD500x to the newest patch just because. Now listening to it over just the USB I think maybe updating to the lastest was a mistake. Everything sounds very dark a quit a bit fizzy. How do you go back? Monkey will reinstall the latested but I'll like to try it with one back to really see.
phil_m
Well, none of the sounds should have changed. I would recommend against rolling back simply because there was a bug in the previous version that could have some potentially serious consequences in the way of loud, uncontrollable sound being played back through headphones and/or speakers. Did you do the Global Settings Reset after doing the update? If not, you should. http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/pod/pod-hd/after-pod-hd500x500-flashre-flashupdate-man-r160 Also, double check to make sure you are in the correct output mode. Palico
Yea, I know they were no "supposed" to change and maybe they didn't. That's why I was wondering if it was possible and how it could be done since I didn't see an obvious way. That way I could compare and see. Yep did the global reset thing. TheRealZap
yes its possible... go to downloads link at top right of page... select the correct criteria and download the flash memory file... then in monkey select flash from file and browse to the downloaded file. i think you might do better checking the output mode and the input z settings before downgrading though... because the next update may have features you want, and you'll have to deal with it then if not now...
